Dream House Ensemble Bio (Persian)

Dream House Ensemble was formed with the idea of the members for performances in 2018, and finally it was formed in the fall of the same year with the aim of performing the works of contemporary composers and introducing them to the audience. The attention and selection of Dream House Ensemble’s repertoires is mostly focused on the less performed works of composers of the second half of the 20th century.

In the first performance on December 13, 2018, the text and piece of the indefinites by John Cage, American avant-garde composer and musician, was performed at Ace Gallery.

On January 11, 2019, the second project entitled “Fixed Sounds,” works by contemporary foreign and Iranian composers, was implemented in the Niavaran Cultural Center Gallery with the participation of the Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation. Among the works performed in this program, we can mention pieces by John Cage, Lamont Young, and Nader Mashayekhi.

February 22, 2019, performance of American avant-garde composer Lamont Young‘s works at Gallery No.14, Tehran.

June 8, 2019, the performance of C. Terry Riley‘s work at Day Show House in collaboration with Yarava Music Group.

June 21, 2019, performance at the 4th Tehran Contemporary Music Festival, performing works by John Cage, Christian Wolff, and Soheil Shirangi.

On July 20, 2019, performing at the 3rd Tehran Electronic Music Festival, with a performance by Karlheinz Stockhausen. November 16, 2019, in the fifth project of the EMARAT ROOBEROO at Tehran, a musical performance based on the poems of Mohammad Azarm (contemporary poet).

September 26, 2020, recording part of the music of the film *Koyanis Katsi* (1982) by Philip Glass, arranged by Parsa Sotoudeh.

May 28, 2021, recording of the *Variations Theme* album at Saba Studio in Tehran, music based on the text of John Cage, translated by Ali Ghanbari.

December 4, 2021, rehearsal and recording of *The Cause of My Existence* in Sorena Hall, music based on the text of Ai Weiwei, translated by Ali Ghanbari.

February 18, 2022, release of the first album “Themes and Variations” by Noise a Noise publishing house, Tehran.

May 3, 2022, the release of the performance of *The Cause of My Existence* in Sorena Hall, music based on the text of Ai Weiwei, translated by Ali Ghanbari.

July 8, 2022, performance at the first Contemporary Music Magazine Festival, in Tehran Music Museum Hall.

September 2022 to March 2023, practicing and recording the works of composers in this collection for performance and publication.

October 2023, release of the second album “Sonorystyka No.1” featuring works by Nader Mashayekhi, Ali Radman, and Idin Samimi Mofakham.
